Brain Fog
You know that you’re getting things done but time feels blurry and your brain feels like it’s stuck in a haze. Brain fog is a common, often temporary mental state marked by difficulty concentrating, sluggish thinking, and forgetfulness.
Dissociation
Dissociation may show up when your thoughts, memories, feelings, body sensations, or sense of self feel disconnected—often after stress, trauma, or overwhelm. It can be mild (zoning out) or more serious (feeling unreal, losing time or memories). You’re physically present but mentally checked out.
Rage & Irritability
Losing your temper over small inconveniences. Yelling at your children or partner, then being overwhelmed by guilt. Feeling like your emotions are completely out of control and powerless to change.
Emotional Blunting
Have you ever watched a favorite movie and felt nothing — no laughter at the jokes you once loved, no tears at a scene that used to move you? Things that once brought joy, anger, sorrow, or excitement may now seem distant or flat.
